When I review a product I always give the positives and the negatives. There is no such thing as a perfect product! But this My Secret Articles package is as close to perfection as I have ever seen.

The only other downfall to the My Secret Articles product is the price. It might be a little too expensive for some people. But there is so much contained in this package that charging any less is probably not possible. I personally feel it’s worth far more than its price tag. Even so, there are going to be people that can’t afford it or simply aren’t willing to invest that money into their future.

How you conduct yourself online can adversely affect you as a business person, professional or employee/employer. No one wants to be seen in a negative light so how you handle yourself online is very important.

Your words onscreen can be seen by thousands of people every day. Search engines crawl and spider everything or almost everything. Even if you went back to edit your posts days later, it’s possible search engines have already cached the pages that can be viewed like archives. The damage is done.

Lately, I’ve seen way too many topics on work at home forums become personal and heated debates. Angry words attacking the person’s character and rebuttals injecting just as much sting like two children fighting on a playground. Many of us can get caught up in our emotions without thinking twice and without thinking about the repercussions. This is ill behaviour and it will hurt you and/or your business. What would this look like to your potential customers, business partners or employees/employers? Would you want to do business, employ/work for this person/company?

When a new member joined a forum recently, she immediately started off on the wrong foot. This person continued to spiral herself into one confrontation after another with a different member each time. For me, I would not want to do business with her. Why? She has proven not just yesterday, but today and tomorrow that she cannot conduct herself professionally, she cannot walk away without stabbing words, throwing insults or being catty. She sabotaged her reputation inadvertently. You shouldn’t let typed words on a screen get the better of you in the heat of the moment, but you can still say your peace with tact and without tarnishing your reputation in the process. You can walk away, calm yourself down, think rationally then come back and respond using carefully thought out words or you can make it an one-on-one by taking it off the public forum and into a private conversation.

If you want to enforce a positive image online, you need to act professionally, take responsibility for your actions and be accountable for them. You don’t have to be boot camp serious all the time; you still have fun and express your opinions.

It’s remembering there are a lot of eyes reading and you don’t want to give anyone any leverage because you slipped up. There’s nothing worse than having your words hold you hostage because of what you said in the past.

Writing for Work at Home Based Business

Everyone wants to know the magic secret to success. Why can two people start in the exact same place and one rise to great success and the other fail? Sometimes the person that succeeds is much less talented than the one that fails.

Why do you think that is?

I know the big SECRET and really it is not much of a secret. The secret is consistent effort. The person that gets started and consistently does something day by day for their business will win in the end.  The secret is consistency. All of the talent in the world will not help you if you are not consistent. 

If you never go to work and stick with something, you never win.  It’s just a simple matter of getting started and then going to work, and keeping on tract consistently. It does not matter how fast or slow you go, but what matters is the consistent effort you put forth.

I started in my present business 2 ½ years ago.  I do something each day, to share my business. Sometimes it’s only one or two things for 30 minutes or less. Other times I work several hours in a day. The one thing I absolutely do EVERY day is work my business. I show my product to someone each day, even it it’s just ONE person. I also talk to one person about earning income with my business. I’m not extra talented but I am consistent and the consistent effort has paid off.

I know of others that start things, work it for a few weeks or months, haphazardly, and then decide it does not work. Nothing works if you don’t give it your all and stick with it. 

Teaching people to be consistent, it the key to helping others become successful. I know of people that WANT success, but many times they are not willing to put forth the effort  to make it work. If you truly want to succeed at anything you simply have to stick with it long enough to get the rewards. ANYONE can do this business, but not everyone will. Learn to look for those that are coachable and willing to put forth the effort to stick around long enough to have success.

Think of this in terms of planting a garden. If you plant a package of seeds, some will sprout and others won’t. If you plant seeds, you have to take care of them. You have to water and fertilize them consistently and you will harvest a crop.  HOWEVER, you will never harvest 100% of all the seeds planted as not all will sprout.

A business is no different, however if you consistently plant new seeds, and talk to people about your business DAILY, in time you will be a success. There is simply no way to fail if you are consistent enough to stick it out.

So the keys to your success is simply BE CONSISTENT.

Go to work and plod your trail. Take action NOW and stick with it and in a few years, you’ll be a great success. It’s called “get rich SLOOOOWLY”.

There are many reasons people use for not starting a home business and making money online even though they want to make a better life for themselves. Most of these “excuses” are nothing more than online business myths that they have been convinced are true.

Here are ten of the top online business myths, in no particular order:

Myth #1: I don’t have enough time to build an online business.

This is simply not true! Most people are really not as busy as they think they are. Sure you might work full time, have a long commute, family obligations, etc… but if you really sit down and prioritize your time, you will find that you do have a couple hours a day to spend on building your home business. Most people with successful online businesses started in the same boat you are in. If you desire something strongly enough, you can always find time to make it happen.

Myth #2: It costs too much to start a home business.

The truth is that you can start an online business for very cheap, and it just keeps getting cheaper. The cost of web hosting, domain names, website design, business opportunities, tools, resources, information, and everything else you may need for an online business only add up to a few dollars per day. And you can do it for even less if you are willing to take the time to do more of the work yourself.

Myth #3: I’m not smart enough to run my own online home business.

This is highly doubtful. I will admit that online business isn’t for everyone, but I do know that it is more than possible for almost anyone. If you are reading this right now then I would bet you are smart enough to make money online. There is more than enough information and resources available for you to learn everything you need to run an online business.

Myth #4: I don’t have any expertise in anything.

First of all, that’s most likely not true. You would be surprised how many things you really do know a lot about if you think hard. Second off, you don’t have to be an expert in anything to start making money online. I was working as a correctional officer in a prison when I decided I wanted to start an online home business. I started researching and learning as much as I could about making money online. It wasn’t long before I was very knowledgeable on the subject and business just got easier and easier.

Myth #5: I don’t have a product to sell.

You don’t need your own product to start a home business online. There are plenty of products and services in every niche that you can promote as an affiliate. You can sell these existing products as an affiliate for a certain commission until you figure out the whole online business world. Then, you can create your own product to sell later on.

Myth #6: I can’t compete with everyone else already making money online.

There are millions of people everyday searching for any number of things you can be making money off of. And there are thousands upon thousands more people who are getting online everyday that could be in your target market. Your market is virtually endless! Remember, if you have to compete with people to make money from your idea then all that really means is that it’s a good idea. You can compete, trust me!

Myth #7: I’ve tried all types of different home business opportunities and failed at them all. Working at home is just not for me.

It’s possible you are right, but most likely you aren’t. Your failure is probably just from not sticking to one business and building it up. If you jump from one opportunity to the next without ever really giving any one of them a fair go then you will certainly fail. You must put in sufficient time and effort in any online business before you will make money online and find any level of success.

Myth #8: The only people making money online are the people selling “how to make money” products.

I hear this one all the time. It’s actually just a lame excuse that has no truth to it at all. I built a very successful home business and made a full-time income online for over four years before I ever came out with any product dealing with how to make money online. Your online business online can be whatever you want it to be. You don’t have to jump in with the “make money online” crowd if you don’t want to. There are thousands of other very profitable niches out there.

Myth #9: I’d need a lot of money to advertise or I won’t get any customers.

This is absolutely not true! The internet is the perfect resource for marketing your home business without breaking the bank to do so. There are literally hundreds of ways to market and advertise your business online and a large portion of them are free or very cheap. I’ve been running my online business since May of 2003 and to this day, I have never spent a large sum of money on any advertising method.

Myth #10: Getting ranked at the top of search engines is impossible and I need to if I want to build a successful online business.

Wrong again! It is true that in some very competitive, high demand niches it’s nearly impossible to achieve top search engine rankings. However, it can be done even in those niches if you really want to. I’ve done it and I am far from being an SEO expert. And the fact is that you don’t need to be ranked at the top of search engines in order to build a successful online business. There are many other very effective ways to bring in customers.

Don’t convince yourself, or let anyone else convince you that you can’t build a successful home business and make money online. You can achieve the dream of financial freedom and create a better life for you and your loved ones.
