Top 5 Best Home Business Opportunities Online

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

I started my online home business in May of 2003, built it fairly quickly into a full time income and have been making my living through my online home business ever since.

In all those years working online, I have come across countless home business opportunities. Some of the opportunities were good; a few were great, but most flat out sucked. Through all my experience I have learned what to look for in an opportunity to judge whether it is worth pursuing or not. I can spot a home business scam or a program that won’t last long from a mile away.

Right now there are only a handful of online home business opportunities that I recommend. I can think of maybe 10 online business opportunities that live up to my strict criteria of what a real, legitimate, solid, honest, and worthwhile opportunity consists of. It’s not easy to find an all-around great home business opportunity online, but when you do find one it can be life-changing!

Rather than have you go through all the trial and error that I had to go through to find quality home business opportunities, I have put together a page listing the top 5 best home business opportunities online. This will save you a lot of time and headaches.

There is no better time than the present to start your online home business or expand into other income streams if you already have a home business. There are plenty of opportunities out there and below I have shown you where you can find 5 of the best. Actually there are six on the page and all are top home business opportunities.

Here you go: Top 5 Best Home Business Opportunities Online

Now get out there and create a much better life for you and your family with your very own online home business!

I just wanted to let you all know that, at the time of writing this post, this blog now ranks #2 on Google for “work at home based business” with quotes and #14 on Google for work at home based business without quotes.

That’s not too bad for a blog that is only a few months old and has had very little promotion.

Let’s keep this growth up and soon we will be ranked highly for many more top keyword phrases other than work at home based business.

This year I will do much more promoting of this work at home based business site and I hope you will too.

Thanks again everyone!

Top 4 Free Advertising Methods

Friday, January 4th, 2008

Here are four effective free advertising methods that have been tried and tested and best of all, they truly work!

We do this naturally and we do it almost every single day. When you recommend a favourite work at home website, rave about a great marketing e-book, share a new business adventure or talk about a new product with such enthusiasm you are spreading the word. One friend will tell another and so on and so on. Word of mouth is still one of best free advertising tools today.

Signature advertising is by far the single easiest methods available. Use it in forums (where it is permitted) and emails. A signature file or sig file is a text of information about your business that may include your name, your email address, telephone number and other pertinent information. The link is automatically appended to outgoing emails and internet postings (forums). Signature advertising creates one way back links to your business or website and drives targeted traffic to your website.

Writing articles have proven time and time again how powerful and effective it really is. It drives traffic to your website creating more exposure, you gain more incoming links and you get higher ranking in search engines. The more traffic you receive the more profits you make, but it’s only effective if you write quality articles rich in keywords and keyword phrases and provide useful information. Otherwise, no one will want to re-print them and your resource box like a signature file is null and pointless.

From community forums to social networking sites such as Ryze, Facebook, MySpace, Adland Pro etc. networking groups is taking its place among the other great free advertising options. It’s a place to gather, meet, share, discuss, inform and learn about various businesses. The same can be said for networking marketing in the real world where you can meet in person at various venues.

There are many different avenues to explore and promote your business online or offline, but when it comes to free advertising these are the four methods that have proven to be on the top of the list for being successful and effective.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Ramblings Of An IM Junkie - Are YOU Ready For The New Year?

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Well, 2007 is gone, 2008 is here and I’ve got tons of plans for this year.

For starters, I’ve just released my first non IM product on health. I have another IM product I am releasing later this year on the occult.

In addition to that, I have one product coming out on writing sales copy and another one on niche research that is going to blow the doors off of the industry.

And of course I have all my other products already out there. This is going to be a very busy year for me.

But what about YOU?

Are you ready for 2008? Do you have some solid plans? Or are you just going to fumble through the year taking pot shots at things and hoping that something sticks?

If so, not a smart move. Let me tell you from experience, if you don’t have a solid game plan, you can’t really have the kind of success that you probably want…unless of course this is just a hobby for you. If so, hey have a good time.

But if you want a real business…make a plan.

Best person I know for business planning is a friend of mine by the name of Bev Clement. She’s a wiz.

If you like, you can check out her site at:

This is not an affiliate link and I get nothing out of this other than helping out in getting a few people started in the right direction.

After you have a plan, come back here next week and we’ll talk some more.

Sincerely,

Steven Wagenheim
