I’m fried…I admit it. I am just plain fried.
I’m in the middle of writing my new book “The Complete Guide To JVs” and I’m just not with it. I have everything done as far as the writing goes, but I just can’t get myself into gear to do the other stuff. You know, create the squeeze page for the report (which I haven’t written yet), the sales page, the autoresponder series and so on. I have so much to do but my brain is just out to lunch, so to speak.
So, what do you do when your head is in another place?
What do I do?
I go to DISNEYLAND!
Okay, no, not really. But I do the next best thing and watch a bunch of Disney films and listen to Disney soundtracks. I guess one of my favorites, with all the modern stuff Disney as done, is the 1965 classic “Mary Poppins”. You know, I always felt that David Tomlinson, who played George Banks, should have gotten an Oscar for that performance. He really was quite good. Of course Julie Andrews winning was a no brainer.
My favorite song from the movie was “Feed The Birds.” I even learned to play that on the guitar. That’s something else I do when I’m brain fried. I take out my guitar and pluck away. You can find a couple of my songs on YouTube if you look.
Usually, after I clear my head by doing something relaxing, I can get back into the swing of working again. It doesn’t take too long either. Sometimes, I’m refreshed after about a half an hour or so. Sometimes it takes a little longer. That’s when I’ll watch one of those long Disney flicks.
What about you? What do you do to clear the cobwebs when you have to get some work done and just don’t feel like doing it or you simply can’t think anymore? If you have any great ideas for getting rid of brain fry, why not post your comments here? I’d love to read what you have to share with me.
In the meantime, I’m going to get back to work because I have a book on JVs I have to get out. If you’re good, I’ll even show you how you can get it real cheap before I sell it for a whole ton of cash.
