Free work at home information is not hard to come by. In fact, there are millions of websites, blogs, forums, lenses, articles, etc… That will give you free work at home information. The problem is knowing what work at home information you should listen to and what information you should avoid.

Remember that pretty much all work at home websites have something to gain by giving you information. They aren’t giving you all that free work at home information just to pass the time because they have nothing else to do. They are trying to make money from you in some way.

I’m not saying they have any malicious intentions (although some do) or that they are trying to scam you (although some are) but you have to remember that they aren’t giving you free work at home information just for the heck of it. They have a reason for it that will benefit them in some way. Yes, even I am hoping to make money from readers of this work at home blog!

So, with that being said, you have to choose the work at home information you listen to wisely. Luckily there are plenty of different work at home website, work at home blogs, work at home articles and other work at home information resources to choose from so you are not limited to where you get your information.

Just remember to keep in the back of your mind what the motives are for the person giving you the free work at home information you are reading at any time.

Now that might sound like a bunch of crap, I know I don’t ever believe claims like that when I read sales pages.

A wonderful surprise awaited me this morning after I logged into my forum. It was a reply from a member saying they were hired. Of course it put a huge smile on my face. It’s not often members tell me they were hired from a job lead I posted.

The daily job leads I post on my forum are unresearched. They are from a variety of sources like Career Builder, Monster, Yahoo, Dice etc…and Craigslist. I know some people cringe when Craigslist is mentioned because of the so many scams posted there.

If you really want to find a work at home job, don’t be afraid to use Craigslist. There are just as many scams on sites like Career Builder, Monster etc. You will never know and possibly miss out on a legitimate work at home job because you were afraid of all the scams.

If you’re unsure whether a job is legitimate or not, there are tons of work at home forums where you can post your question and ask. Many forums as well offer job leads; so these are good places to use in your job search as I know each forum offers different leads.

One last note, data entry jobs are very rare and everybody wants them. There are many, many data entry jobs posted on various job sites, but I found a freelance data entry job on Craigslist which turned out to be a legitimate job and several people were hired.

Legitimate jobs can be found on Craigslist and even for the very rare, most-sought after data entry jobs.

It takes time, patience and research. It is really worth your time to use all of the different avenues available to you.

Now don’t go thinking you can just come here and post some drive-by comment just to get a link to your website, or spam your comments all over the place. I do have some measures in place to make sure that doesn’t happen.

First of all, I do manually approve all comments and I will never approve any spammy comments or other comments that I feel were posted with the sole intent of getting a backlink.

Second, I have set the DoFollow comment plugin to only follow links on comments from people who have posted a certain number of comments on this blog (no I won’t tell you how many). This will reward those of you who come here often to comment and will help discourage others from simply coming here once just to comment and get a link to their site.

Third, it will only follow links with names under a certain amount of characters. So if a comment spammer comes here and tries to use “make money online from home work at home based business” as their name, their link will NOT be followed no matter how many comments they already have.

To sum it up…

If you are someone who comes here and actually reads the posts and writes legitimate comments, you will be rewarded with followed one-way backlinks to your website. If you don’t do that your links will still be “nofollow” and you will be wasting your time!
