Excellent tips! I’ve certainly had my share of screw ups, and will probably have many more in the future. It’s important to use them as a stepping stone and learn from them. If I had given up, I wouldn’t have found success.

Thank you for your comments, everybody. I thought it worth pointing out that just because you sometimes make a mistake it doesn’t mean you have failed.

After all, the greatest baseball players miss far more balls than they hit, and the number they hit really well is even lower – yet they enjoy adulation, wealth and fame… :-)
