As of December 1st 2009, it is required by the FTC to disclose that I may be getting paid at times for content written or links/ads posted on work-at-home-based-business.com
I believe in being transparent with my business anyway, so these new rules are fine with me. Here you go…
Occasionally recommendations and links are posted on this blog for which I get compensation. These are based first and foremost on their merit. Many links are direct and I have no affiliations with them. Some endorsements made on this blog are obtained through compensation, such as free review copies.
This blog is mainly for informational purposes to help you with all aspects of working at home, online business and related topics. However, I am required to inform you that any time you click on a link on this website; there is a good chance that I may be paid if you buy a product or service at the site on the other end, or just by you clicking on the link. You should assume that I get paid on every link you see on this web site. At times, I may also receive free stuff for blogging about particular products or services.
The bottom line is that I am an internet marketer and a blogger. When I recommend or link to a product or service, I often have an affiliate link posted for it. When someone buys from my link, I earn money. It’s as simple as that.
According to the new law from the FTC, I need to disclose this information to you. So that is what I am doing by publishing this page on my blog. The FTC is trying to protect the consumer and I think that is a good thing because there are plenty of scammers and unethical marketers out there. I am NOT one of them!
I do not promote worthless crap or accept money or free gifts from anyone in order to skew my opinions or make false recommendations, and I never will! I will not lie about a product or service just to make a few extra bucks.
So be very careful about the things you buy online and who you buy from. Remember that when you buy something that I talk about on this blog, I might get a commission from your purchase. It’s not a bad thing, I gotta pay the bills just like everyone else, but I am not a scumbag about it!
Furthermore, I need to point out that…
This blog is a collaborative effort written by a group of individuals. This blog may accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.
The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post may not always be clearly identifiable as paid or sponsored content.
The owner(s)/author(s) of this blog may be compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though the owner(s)/author(s) of this blog may receive compensation for our posts or advertisements, we always give our honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
This blog may contain content which might present a conflict of interest. This content may not always be identified.
Confused about all that mumbo-jumbo you read above, or simply don’t feel like reading all of it? That’s understandable, here’s a quick summary for you…
